① Micro-filling effect: Ultrafine particles fill capillary pores and micro-cracks in cement paste, reducing porosity and enhancing structural density. This results in a smoother, finer polished surface with higher gloss.
② Volcanic ash reaction: Highly reactive SiO₂ undergoes secondary reaction with Ca(OH)₂ produced during cement hydration, generating additional C-S-H gel. This significantly boosts later-stage strength and durability.
