Denser matrix
Fills microvoids and refines particle packing.
Silica fume grade
Undensified microsilica · SiO₂ ≥ 98%
A 98% SiO₂ undensified silica fume engineered for high-purity UHPC, advanced castables and GRC/GFRC. Its controlled agglomeration improves handling and transport while allowing rapid dispersion under normal mixing shear.
Product Overview
A 98% SiO₂ undensified silica fume engineered for high-purity UHPC, advanced castables and GRC/GFRC. Its controlled agglomeration improves handling and transport while allowing rapid dispersion under normal mixing shear.
Fine amorphous particles fill capillary voids and support pozzolanic or ceramic bonding. Batch control covers chemistry, moisture, loss on ignition and bulk density (240–400 kg/m³). Ask MSILI to match the grade to your binder, dosage and process before scale-up.
Product Advantages
Fills microvoids and refines particle packing.
Breaks down under normal mechanical shear without chemical binders.
Can improve strength, impermeability and service durability when correctly formulated.
COA-backed lots and packaging options for trials or bulk production.

Performance Comparison
Based on existing formulation tests, this section shows reference performance improvement from the micro-filling effect and pozzolanic reaction of silica fume. Actual results vary with matrix type, mix design, dosage, dispersion and process conditions, so sample testing is recommended.
Silica Fume Applications
Optimizes fine-particle packing and the interfacial transition zone in thin panels, precast elements and architectural UHPC.
Supports uniform paste structure, dimensional accuracy and high-strength thin-wall production.
Promotes matrix densification and ceramic bonding for hot strength, erosion resistance and volume stability in severe linings.
Limits impurity and low-melting-phase introduction in high-temperature, wear-resistant castable systems.
Improves paste encapsulation and fibre–matrix bonding for strength, crack resistance and fine architectural finishes.
Functions as a high-purity ultrafine filler in resins, inorganic composites, engineered stone and wear-resistant flooring.

FAQ
Answers to common purchasing questions about packaging, export documents, sample trials, loading and delivery.
98% serves high-purity UHPC, advanced castables and GRC/GFRC, including purity-sensitive UHPC, advanced castables, GRC/GFRC and functional composites.
The very low impurity load is valuable in cement-free or ultra-low-cement refractories, where low-melting phases can undermine high-temperature structure; relevant systems may be evaluated up to about 1700°C.
Undensified here means controlled physical agglomeration, not a chemical binder. With a bulk density of 240–400 kg/m³ it improves loading and handling, while normal mechanical shear breaks the agglomerates down during mixing.
Optimise particle packing and dispersant demand in the full formulation. For GRC/GFRC and composites, also check fibre wetting, surface finish, shrinkage and dimensional stability.
Check SiO₂, moisture, loss on ignition, bulk density, particle-size or fineness data and application-relevant activity. Confirm the current lot on the COA and validate it with the actual binder or resin system.
Yes. Samples and small bags are available for laboratory trials; bulk bags, liners, pallets, shipping marks and batch documents can be matched to the production method and destination.
